War in Ukraine: Resources, Reactions and Support from the Bosch Alumni Network

We are all shocked by the war in Ukraine. Our thoughts and our hearts are with the victims of this senseless and unjustifiable act of violence.
The Bosch Alumni Network connects people from all over the world to foster cross-sectoral exchange, international collaborations, understanding, and peace. Therefore, various members and partners of the Bosch Alumni Network started initiatives, safe communication spaces and hands-on support in reaction to the war on Ukraine.
Together with key partners from across the philanthropy sector, MitOst & iac Berlin have launched the integrated online portals PhilanthropyForUkraine.eu and NGOforUkraine.eu. The initiative aims to better coordinate the efforts, initiatives and calls for donations from the European philanthropy sector and NGO community in Ukraine and neighbouring countries.
A central go-to resource has been created by our long-standing partner MitOst. It coordinates international help, connects and provides information and collects money for urgently needed helmets and vests for Ukrainians to protect themselves: www.mitost.org/war-in-ukraine/
Additionally, a dedicated group has been started on boschalumni.net. It provides a safe space to channel our shared wishes to help and to focus our activities, to share useful links and to mutually support each other:
“Responses to the war in Ukraine”
It takes all our efforts for freedom, peace and stability.

The Bosch Alumni Network builds upon the legacy of Robert Bosch and the resources of the Robert Bosch Stiftung. Robert Bosch was particularly concerned about peace and stability and the Robert Bosch Stiftung is committed to his legacy. It has supported numerous projects in Ukraine as well as Russia and many other areas that support the creation of positive social impact.
The concern and sympathy of the Robert Bosch Stiftung as well as the iac Berlin go out to all Ukrainians and the people on the ground who have been working for freedom and democratic development in their country for years. At the same time, we are concerned about those people in Russia who openly oppose the war and take great personal risks to do so.
