While the pandemic is still affecting people’s health and livelihoods in many regions of the world, and in many countries strict contact bans and travel restrictions are still in place, In Germany as well as some other countries, a cautious return to normality is underway.
Against this backdrop, we have relaxed the previous “home office” regulations for staff members of the iac Berlin and also reopened the “Community Space” for groups of up to 15 people in accordance with a strict hygiene concept. Of course, we will monitor the developments closely and reserve the right to return to stricter measures at any time.
We want to apply this relaxation of measures to the Bosch Alumni Network and are returning to a process in which we will, on a case-by-case basis, determine whether a physical meeting between network members can be made possible. In some cases, we are currently evaluating whether first "offline" meetings can take place. For this, we are in close contact with the organizers of the events, who are best able to analyse the local situation on the ground.
We are also re-starting our popular “Learning Exchange Grants”. During the selection of applicants, we will adhere to the guidelines and recommendations in place in Germany and the countries travelled to and from. We are counting on the fact that you will not be taking any health risks and only apply with ideas for “safe” travel countries. Additionally, please take note of the fact that border entry and quarantine regulations can be changed without any notice and with immediate effect and that the iac Berlin is not responsible for guaranteeing entry, onward travel or return travel. A “Learning Exchange Grant” can also be granted in your own region or in a neighboring country! Please read carefully the new rules on the processing of applications.
