Bosch Africa Forum 2024 in Rwanda: Innovation and Technology as enablers for transformation in Africa
From July 25-29, 2024, the second Bosch Africa Forum unfolded against the backdrop of Lake Muhazi, Rwanda. Over three days, 24 members of the Bosch Alumni Network from 14 African countries gathered for collaboration, inspiration, and meeting fellow members.
The forum focused on the potential of technology, including Artificial Intelligence, to contribute to the transformation of the continent. Through workshops and Open Space sessions, participants co-created ideas aimed at making a meaningful impact across the continent.
The event balanced serious discussions with moments of leisure activities and delicious Rwandan food, creating a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere.
One participant captured the spirit of the forum like this:
“On our last evening, watching the sunset over the lake, I thought about how much this forum had changed me. It wasn't just about discussing change – it lit a fire in all of us to be that change.”
