The International Alumni Center (iac Berlin) and the Robert Bosch Stiftung are inviting partners, fellows and alumni to join the Kick-off Meeting of the Europe Cluster from December 6 - 8, 2019 in Brussels, to contribute to the formation of the Cluster.
The Kick-off will bring together around thirty members of the Bosch Alumni Network from different backgrounds and with a diverse set of skills. The meeting will serve as a starting point for further self-organized activities and projects with the ideas of the members of the Europe cluster.
The Cluster, and in particular the Kick-off, targets network members who are actively engaged - or seeking to become engaged - in strengthening the European idea and European democracy within their local contexts. A high interest in connecting internationally is also desired. Moreover, we are interested in inviting members from different programs who have the capacity to inform their former peers about the outcomes of the Kick-off and thus help disseminate relevant information across the network.
The Kick-off offers space to reflect on how the network can
• support, spread and enhance the European idea
• exchange best practices or develop new ideas to strengthen the pressured democratic civil societies in Europe within our network and beyond
• serve as a resource for both junior and senior members of the Cluster.
Moreover, flexible exchange formats should make it possible to identify further aspects to be addressed within the Cluster until the end of 2021.
If you are interested in co-designing the Cluster “Europe”, please apply to participate in the Kick-off Meeting via this Link, no later than Sunday, October 13th. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact Hanna Reichhardt (firstname.lastname@example.org) or myself (email@example.com). The language of the Kick-off will be English. Travel costs and expenses during the meeting will be covered.
