For decades, the Robert Bosch Stiftung has supported international cultural- and professional exchange, qualifications and networking in the field of culture as well as community building through cultural activities. Among those supported by the foundation are artists, authors, translators, filmmakers, photographers, performers, cultural managers and community builders. Coming from a variety of disciplines and regions they are all bridge builders between different communities and strengthen dialogue as an enabler of social cohesion and innovation.
The Kickoff Meeting, which will be held in Berlin from the 24th to 26th January 2019, brings together a group of thirty members of the Bosch Alumni Network representing this diversity of programs and cultural actors to serve as a starting point for further self-organized activities of the network members within the cluster “Culture”. The Kickoff Meeting offers space to reflect on how we, as a network, can:
- create, support and sustain safe spaces and leeway for creativity and cultural exchange,
- drive social cohesion and social innovation through art, culture and community building,
- advocate and showcase cultural diversity as an enrichment for all?
Moreover, flexible exchange formats should make it possible to identify further aspects to be addressed within the cluster until mid-2020.
If you want to co-design the cluster “Culture” within the Bosch Alumni Network please apply for the Kickoff Meeting via this link, no later than November 27th, 2018.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact Cara Hilliges at firstname.lastname@example.org. The language of the Kickoff will be English. Costs for travel and during the meeting will be covered.
