Bosch Alumni Network Evaluation and next steps
What brings us together, how do we learn, collaborate, and support each other, and what does the network need to thrive? These are some of the questions explored in the second evaluation of the Bosch Alumni Network, conducted by the Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation at the University of Vienna. The full report is now available here.
Following the presentation of the initial findings in May, a Sounding Board of ten network members came together to reflect on the results and discuss what they could mean for the future of the Bosch Alumni Network. Here’s a little update on what we’ve been working on together.
The evaluation showed that our shared values and principles are at the heart of Bosch Alumni Network. They connect us, guide our collaboration, and shape our network. Following our discussions, an updated version is now available here. Since these values belong to all of us, we’d love to hear your thoughts. Please share any comments or questions directly with Anca or Lucie.
The evaluation also sparked conversations about communication within the network, using the iceberg model as a starting point. These insights have informed the updated platform navigation that will be up on October 23 and will help shape new communication initiatives for our upcoming 10th anniversary.
We also explored the roles that keep our network thriving and what is still missing. The findings will inform the next call for applications for Cluster Moderators and Impact Field Hosts. Plus, a new role is in the making — we hope to share more details in November!
Finally, we discussed how to make onboarding more welcoming for new and existing members and how to shape the network’s strategic direction. A new “About” text will soon appear in the updated platform navigation, and we’ll continue exploring our future together with the wider network during our anniversary year in 2027.
Thank you to the members of the Sounding Board @Elisabeth @ElizabethMaloba, @Katerina @omotoke @tanzila @chaitanya @charles @filip @ozhugan @Patrick.
We welcome your questions and feedback, and there’s plenty more to look forward to as we approach 2027. Exciting things are in the works, so stay tuned! 😊
